For what this villa costs, I expected service that was much more welcoming. A few people were great: the black guy at the reception was very very nice, Sebastian at the bar was outstanding, and the spa staff were amazing. But most of the service felt neither cordial nor warm, and it seemed like staff treated customers by different standards. At breakfast, nobody smiled or made us feel welcome. We had to ask for coffee, and the greeting was cold. The whole place felt unwelcoming. Management should teach the blonde lady, the hostess at the Leone Felice restaurant, some manners. She clearly has no idea how to deal with guests at hotels like this. The villa itself is outstanding.

The restaurants had great food and drinks, and the pool, sauna, and steam room were perfect for unwinding. We found the hotel grounds and facilities incredible, and the staff went above and beyond with every request. It was a great base for day trips to the lakes, Milan, and Venice, or for staying put and relaxing in the picturesque surroundings. One of our best hotel experiences. We'll be back. A Presto!!!

Gerry the bartender even showed us how to make a Martini. His were the best we've ever had, even compared with Duke’s Bar in London (if you know, you know!!). The hotel had breathtaking views, incredible facilities, and the service was unbelievable. Amazing stay!

We had a wonderful stay. The resort and its services and staff were all amazing, and it really feels like a destination in its own right. We could walk to Bella Vista winery for a tour and tasting, but for other activities you need a car or have to stick with things on site. We had a car and explored a bit.

Dinner was incredible, especially the gnocchi, and we enjoyed wandering along the forest paths and through the vineyards while sipping Bellavista wines made from grapes grown just steps away. L’Albereta feels peaceful and full of old-world charm, set among the Franciacorta vineyards. Our stay was serene and luxurious, with lovely attention to detail in both the rooms and the service. From arrival, the gardens and views made us stop and take it all in. Such an elegant, enchanting escape.
