Agriturismo La Casina della Burraia

There are plenty of places to hike nearby, and the hosts' hospitality and delicious, simple food made the stay even better. Super nice place and people. I'll definitely come back.

Lovely people, home-cooked food, and beautiful rolling views made this a great rustic stay.

That candlelit room really does take you back in time, and the best part was the dinner with everyone gathered around one huge table. It made it easy to get to know the other guests. The products were excellent, and both the property and owners are truly lovely. Just be aware that the 3.5 km dirt road can be tough in rain or snow.

We walked in around 4 pm on Sunday, November 14th, to this place surrounded by nature. There was a sign for the agriturismo and customer parking, and the gate was open, but the manager seemed visibly annoyed that we were there. He told us to check the website for any information. I have back pain and didn’t feel able to walk uphill, so I asked if I could wait while my two friends went to get their car, which was about a half-hour walk away. He just said, “Sit outside.” That showed no kindness, hospitality, or empathy. We were treated as if the three of us were some kind of criminals.
