Bed Breakfast Neapolis

It's a spacious, clean apartment, though a little basic. The location made a great base for Vesuvius, Pompeii and Herculaneum, and Naples is only 20 minutes away. We were out of the city's busy center but still close to the train. Honestly, I can't fault the stay.

We had such a nice time at this Airbnb. The breakfast was amazing, and Napoli is an easy train ride away.

The host was really nice and helpful, and the apartment was kept very clean. Our beds were made, rubbish taken out and the place cleaned every day. The terrace was spacious and furnished. Inside, there were two rooms and a bathroom: a living room with a large fridge, espresso machine, kettle and dining table with three chairs, plus a bedroom with a double bed, a single bed and a large closet. The private bathroom had a shower. Breakfast was tasty: a warm chocolate croissant, banana, warm milk and juice. They provided espresso pods for free and replenished them. The station is a short walk away, Ercolano miglio d'ore, served by the Circumvesuviana. Be aware it's a small, private railway with its own network, tickets, ticket office and platform. Take the train going to Poggiomarino to get off at the right station. Two trains leave the same platform just four minutes apart, and one goes to Sarno. We got on the wrong one and ended up 50 km the wrong way, at the terminus in a town with no taxis. Tickets for Ercolano miglio d'ore can only be bought through their app, though there's a ticket machine at Ercolano scavi. There's a fantastic restaurant and good shopping within walking distance too.
