Maison di Fiore B&B

The hosts were so friendly and always nearby if we needed anything, including help with getting the bikes sorted out. The apartment and the B&B itself were really cute, and being so close to Vesuvio made it a great spot for a holiday.

We had a lovely week here in early June and would happily return. The gardens and pool were a real treat, with lovely views across Naples and Vesuvius and plenty to look at around the grounds. Our room was modern and thoughtfully laid out, with Wi-Fi, air conditioning, a fridge, and an en-suite bathroom with a shower. Niccoló and Jacopo welcomed us at the airport and were attentive throughout, helping make the stay comfortable. Breakfast included tea, coffee and pastries, with bacon and eggs available if wanted. We also had light lunches at the property, which were fresh and full of flavour. We mostly walked to the Herculaneum / Ercolano excavations and the station for trains to Naples, Pompeii and Sorrento. Niccolo arranged transfers to Vesuvius and Herculaneum when we needed them. The B&B is on the edge of town, at the foot of Vesuvius, about a 30-minute walk away, so having a car would have made getting around easier. If we're in the Naples area again, we'd stay here.

The service was what made our stay at Maison Di Fiore so special. Niccoló, Jacopo, and their parents were already helping before we arrived, answering questions and arranging transfers. They also made sure our family, including our two small children, was comfortable the whole time. One of the best B&Bs I've stayed at, and I'd come back in a heartbeat. The garden and pool were a big bonus, and the family made us feel at home every day. They replied quickly on WhatsApp and shared useful tips for parking, restaurants and things to do. It's a lovely B&B, well placed for Vesuvius, Pompeii and the city of Napels.
