The ground-floor apartment was quiet and relaxing, with plenty of space and a good bed. The fridge was stocked, and they’d provided fruit, water, and breakfast necessities. The hosts were incredibly welcoming and kind, helped us park, then drove us to the apartment and gave us an interesting tour of Erice’s history and highlights. Fabulous and wonderful, five stars doesn’t do it justice. We’re looking forward to coming back and strongly recommend it.

We loved sitting on the terrace with drinks and taking in the amazing views. Apartmenti Liberty was a fabulous place to stay while exploring the wonderfully historic town of Erice. The hosts were super friendly and had left lots of extras, including fruit from their garden, local red and white wine, and a tray of regional sweets. I can’t recommend it enough.

There’s amazing local food at the property, and you can tell there’s so much passion in what they do. After a lifetime of traveling around the world, I’ve never been welcomed like I was by Vincenzo’s parents in Erice. They gave us a full tour of the city. They’re the best hosts. Kudos to the whole famiglia!

The apartment was well equipped, stocked generously with water, snacks, and other bites, and they even met our dietary needs. The rooftop terrace had an amazing view over the sea-level towns and Trapani. Iole and Giuseppe made a huge difference: they were genuine, responsive, and so hospitable. Check-in felt warm and friendly. We had lots of suitcases, and they used their own car to help move them from the nearby carpark (safe) to the apartment, while we walked over. They also gave us a short tour and shared interesting facts and history about Erice.

When we found out the cable car wasn’t running because of high winds, the owners’ parents did everything they could to help us. They’re lovely people, and we hope to stay here again. One of the best places we stayed in Italy, with a beautiful apartment and amazing views.
