The hosts were friendly and made a real effort to welcome me despite the language barrier. The accommodation was clean, the hospitality excellent, and the surroundings peaceful and lovely. They really helped make my first visit to Sicily enjoyable. I'll definitely recommend this place to friends, and I'll be back for more. xxxxx

The location worked really well as a base for exploring the whole western coast of Sicily. We spent 10 days at the Catalano Holiday Home in Pizzolungo. The apartment was spacious, clean, and had every comfort, plus a large outdoor terrace. Mrs. Ada and Mr. Enzo were wonderful and incredibly helpful. More than satisfied. The owner's kindness and hospitality stood out most. They made us feel like part of the family, not just guests. The apartment is spacious, over 70 sq m, clean, and sanitized, with a large covered balcony and air conditioning in the bedroom. It has all the kitchen basics, including pots, plates, cutlery, a microwave, and, best of all, an espresso machine. We always ate outside, where there are tables and chairs. Two small, charming public beaches are only 200 meters away, and the owner provides umbrellas and chairs. Five stars only because ten isn't an option. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!
