The terrace view over Erice is hard to beat, and you can enjoy it from the balcony while having breakfast. The breakfast is all sweets, but it was good, and the receptionist was lovely. The rooms are another story: no air conditioning, dated furniture, and while the bed was okay, everything else badly needs renovating. Still, we had a pleasant stay, and that view is amazing.

The mountain and sea views are astonishing, though the rooms themselves are very basic. We struggled to find the hotel because there was no sign, and only managed with help from locals. Remember, it’s a one-star place, but it works for a night if you’re visiting Erice.

I stayed four days and honestly can’t understand the low rating. The view is breathtaking, the staff are lovely, and my room was clean. Free parking for both cars and motorbikes is a real plus in a place like this. It’s simple and has no frills, but for the price and those advantages, it may be the best value hotel I’ve stayed in. Highly recommended.

The service was very unfriendly. We’d booked two nights, but the room wasn’t ready. At registration, a man bullied my assistant, even though I use a wheelchair. We found another accessible hotel in beautiful Erice.

Such a great surprise. The rooms are simple and perfectly fine, the price is good, and the sea and valley view is absolutely breathtaking.
