The rooms are on the small side, but having a private terrace is a plus. It's close to the city center and comes with free parking, which I'd especially recommend during the busy summer months when finding a spot can be difficult. Breakfast is included and good. This is a beautiful property I'd recommend.

The setting is attractive, but we were eager to leave. Hospitality was lacking, which is unusual in Sicily. We arrived already anxious because the winding road up was challenging. The man at reception, probably the owner, was the only cold person we met in Sicily. He only helped with the bags after my husband stopped and said his was difficult to drag down all those stone steps. Our room felt tacky and run down, with cheap-looking furnishings, and I could never get the key to work easily in the door. The site advertised free breakfast, but we would have been charged if we ate. The guy also recommended a restaurant that was closed on Mondays, the day we were there.

A dream of a place, right outside the old city of Erice on top of the mountain. It's peaceful, with amazing views and surroundings. Waking up in the clouds is quite an experience.

A nice, quiet place to stay, with decent amenities, a good breakfast and friendly staff. It can feel a little eerie in the off season, though.

Room 22 was really dated and full of insects. There were spider webs around the wardrobe and dead flies in the shower.
