The mountain setting kept the villa comfortable even in the middle of summer, which was a treat after other places we'd stayed that were dry and over-air-conditioned. It was peaceful, with a relaxed garden setting for breakfast, and getting to Erice and Trapani was easy. My Sicilian companion and I loved the funky, tranquil villa, and Tonino was a funny, perfect host. We only stayed two nights and wished we could have made it longer. The place had great energy, and I can't wait to return when the marvelous lagoon pool is installed.

You do need a car to get here, though once you're there, everything is close by. Erice and Trapani are only a 10-15 minute drive away. The villa itself is beautiful and sits in a very quiet area, and Tonnino was a wonderful host.

Tonino was so hospitable and kind that he made us feel like part of the family. The setting is quiet and truly enchanting, with a wonderful landscape and breathtaking panoramic views. It's also very well placed for getting to Trapani, splendid Erice, and the lovely beach at San Giuliano. Excellent!

After a full day at the beach and having fun, it was easy to unwind here, away from the city's bustle. The location is also handy for several well-known destinations in the province of Trapani. The house is spacious, beautiful, and well-equipped, and the owner is always available and does all they can to make your holiday memorable. They're working on a pool at the moment, which should add to the relaxing, charming atmosphere.
