We spent five nights there and had a wonderful stay. It’s called the Owl now, not the Voice of Time. The property is beautiful, comfortable, exceptionally clean, and in a great location, with everything you could need. Karim, the manager, is kind and very helpful. He really makes a difference, and I’m sure I’ll return.

If you’re interested in the history of Vajont and the surrounding area, or want to learn more, this is a must-see. The house tells the story of Erto and the Vajont Valley, with a tasteful renovation and thoughtful details in a magical setting. The owner is courteous and helpful. Breakfast is excellent, and both the comfort and sleep quality are great. It’s a wonderful base for excursions in the Friulian Dolomites, with Wi-Fi available. Highly recommended.

Annamaria didn’t grow up in the area, but she clearly loves it and has plenty of useful tips for getting around. The place is in Erto’s historic center, renovated in a way that respects its surroundings. The atmosphere is immaculate, with rustic touches given a modern feel. Definitely worth staying at least one night.

Pets are welcome, and if you’re lucky you might get to cuddle the owners’ two gorgeous cats. The owner and her daughters greet guests with warm, genuine smiles and spoil them with a generous, wholesome homemade breakfast. This little gem is right in the historic center. Recently renovated, it has very large, comfortable, spacious rooms.
