The host was kind and always ready to help, and the apartment had amazing views of the beautiful Dolomite Mountains. It’s modern and stylish, with plenty of lighting options, and was very clean. The bathroom’s large, handy countertop gave the whole family room for cosmetics. We rented Tana del Picchio appartment for a week this year to ski in San Pellegrino. It’s a 15 minutes drive from the main lifts and 2 minutes drive from Coop supermarket, bakery, and ski rentals. There’s private parking right in front of the entrance, plus a ski room with heaters on the ground floor. Highly recommended!

The view at sunset over the mountains is breathtaking, and eating dinner while watching it felt priceless. We spent a week in this beautiful apartment, which had every comfort, and loved the location and Ruggero, the owner’s, kindness. Our 3-year-old son enjoyed the spacious apartment, the little house in the garden, and the swing.

The garden is lovely for adults and children alike. Mr. Ruggero welcomed us to Tana del Picchio Rosso, a beautifully designed apartment with all the comforts a family needs on holiday. I highly recommend a stay there, and send my warmest regards to Ruggero.

Those big windows looking out at the mountains made the apartment unforgettable. It’s distinctive, beautiful, and centrally located while still away from noisy streets. The well-kept garden has lovely wooden playhouses for the kids. Ruggero was super friendly and helpful, and I hope to return soon. One small suggestion for the bathroom: towel hooks and a mirror close enough for us ladies to see our faces up close. I’m a mole and couldn’t see myself properly. We stayed in August 2020, so perhaps those changes have been made since.

We wanted somewhere peaceful but comfortable to bring our 5-month-old son to the mountains for his first time, and couldn’t have found a better place. The apartments are beautiful, well maintained, and spotlessly clean. Ruggiero is a wonderful person who always looks after his guests. Simply spectacular, and we’ll definitely return.
