B&B Al Villino del Sole

The place was spotless, and the owners were both professional and friendly. I also had one of the best breakfasts I've ever had, presented with such charm!

It's paradise.

Breakfast was one of the best parts of our stay, served on the veranda overlooking the garden. The cottage is even more beautiful than the photos suggest, and although it sits out in the countryside, I was glad I chose it from all the Fano area places I looked at, many of them near the beach. The room was nice. Local dogs barking was a little annoying during the first few days, though it wasn't constant, and in the morning there were birds singing instead. Antonella is charming, and she and her husband really know the business after running a hotel in the area for 40 years. Breakfast was hearty, with homemade cakes, plus toast and eggs for anyone wanting something savory. Antonella even made pancakes for a change. She works hard and uses whatever she can get, from her own garden or local farmers. I'll always remember the grilled apricots with ricotta and almonds. There's a shopping center about a five-minute walk away, with a huge Conad supermarket, McDonald's, other shops, a bookstore, and clothing stores. If you don't want to eat out one evening, the B&B has a microwave for heating food, which you can eat on the garden veranda. There's also a refrigerator for storing things to take to the beach in a cooler.
