The view and garden are magnificent, and the pool is large and quite dense. Chiara was a wonderful host and made sure we had everything we needed. The apartment was stylish and fully equipped, with its own entrance and a covered parking spot. I can’t think of a single thing to complain about. It’s personally in my top three places I’ve ever visited. Thanks for having us :)

The quiet was a big part of the appeal. We were far from the tourist crowds, with very few other guests, if any. I could enjoy the pool almost by myself, sit on a bench looking out to sea, or relax on the private balcony overlooking the garden, with birds chirping all around. It was pure relaxation. This was our second stay, and it confirmed my first impression: the location is exceptional. Even the drive up is impressive, with a park-like setting, mature trees, and wide views over the sea and landscape. Nearby, the sea and sandy beaches around the beautiful town of Fano, or even of Senegal, offer a change of pace. Medieval places like Mondavio also make for appealing day trips through lovely scenery.

We’ve been coming back to this wonderful hill for three years now. The peace and quiet make it an ideal break from the usual routine, and the sea is only 7-10 minutes away, with private and public beaches. We’ve stayed in both the apartments and the room, and all were exceptional and carefully detailed. Chiara, the owner, is the icing on the cake. She’s empathetic, and we’ve become wonderful friends. Her three dogs are always ready to give cuddles and bring smiles. It’s a perfect spot for an unforgettable holiday, more than excellent, with honors. For a great meal in Fano, we recommend Trattoria la Tressa for quality at a good price, Ristorante Al Mare for a formal and elegant meal that’s always a sure thing, and Osteria della Peppa for delicious homemade food. Pane e Porchetta has the best porchetta and sausage sandwich I’ve ever had, great for a quick but super break. It’s on the Adriatica Nord 109 national road.
