There were books all over, which was a lovely touch. I even read a comic before falling asleep. The bedroom was spacious, and I appreciated having free WiFi for work. The owners were kind and helpful, and the B&B is tastefully furnished and cute, with a homelike feel. Hospitality is top-notch, and I highly recommend it. The location is great too: quiet, but close to the center of Fano, supermarkets, and anything else you might need.

It’s handy having street parking right outside the gate, and the city center is only a 15-20 minute walk away. The property itself is welcoming and peaceful, in a quiet, convenient spot. The room had everything we needed, including a mini-bar stocked with drinks and snacks, a coffee machine, a kettle, books, comics, and an outdoor veranda to relax on. The owners were very kind and always available. Dogs stay free, which is a huge plus for us since pet-friendly places aren’t always easy to find. Il gabbiano giallo will be our go-to in Fano on future trips. Highly recommend it.

A lovely quiet spot across from a park, with lots of free parking and nearby shops. You can easily walk to the historic center. The room was clean, well equipped, and very nice. I’d never come across a hairdryer with a diffuser before. The bathroom was spectacular, with a roomy shower and faucets that worked properly, which isn’t always a given.

We had loads of room for our luggage and stroller, so the room worked really well for us and our 2-year-old daughter. Our big dog was welcome too, with a dog bed and bowls ready for him. The room was bright, spacious, modern, and inviting, and that bathroom was wow. We stayed at Gabbiano Giallo over New Year’s Eve. It was a treat, with a completely separate entrance that made it feel like we were coming back to our own home. The location was excellent: just a 10-minute walk to the city center, including 5 minutes through a lovely park along the canal. Highly recommended!
