Orto dei Semplici B&B

The rooms were clean, and the Apennines view was beautiful. The owners are warm and friendly, and the dogs were fantastic. Such a positive stay.

I slept wonderfully here. The owners, especially Mariateresa, were incredibly kind, and I enjoyed chatting with them. I can't remember her husband's name, but I want to thank them both for their hospitality. The room was clean and comfortable, and the bathroom was spacious and clean. Breakfast under the gazebo looked out over the Apennines, with three lovely dogs and an atmosphere that helped me feel normal again. I was coming from the Genoa hinterland to meet friends from Piacenza halfway, so I only stayed one night. If I'm in the area again, I'll definitely come back.

Arriving on foot from Bobbio, I found the property easily. The welcome was friendly and helpful, and my room was very comfortable. The hamlet of M. Teresa and Mario has been restored beautifully and furnished with grace and taste, in a lovely spot with open views over the mountains and meadows.

The place is nice, with lots of greenery and a beautiful mountain view, and I'm sorry we stayed only one night. Still, it was disappointing: the bathroom was missing even the bare essentials, and breakfast was poor, with little or nothing to eat. I don't think I'll return, and I wouldn't recommend it.
