The location makes a great base for exploring the villages of Tuscia, with the Salabrone waterfalls and the area near Farnese, where Comencini's Pinocchio was filmed, close by. That film location deserves more attention. The place itself is lovely, tucked into greenery, and we felt right at home. Our room was roomy and spotless, breakfast was generous, especially the desserts, and the owner prepares traditional dishes at the restaurant. It was too chilly for us to use the pool, but the setting is delightful. We'll come back and give it a try.

There's a lot to like here, including the strategic location, the on-site restaurant, and the lovely pool, but the lack of attention was disappointing. The shower was almost impossible to set to a comfortable temperature, either freezing or boiling, which was especially frustrating after a day out in April. The faucet also needs replacing: its nozzles are clogged and the water flow is uneven. At this room price, I expected more care. Breakfast had sweets in seemingly endless supply, but the savory side was lacking. There was no fresh bread or butter for the jam, and the service felt disorganized. It's a shame, and I wish them luck.

Meals here have become a lovely tradition whenever I visit Farnese, a beautiful village in Tuscia. The local food is delicious, and Pietro and Pietrina are so courteous and friendly. The place is enchanting, with rooms for a few days' stay and a beautiful pool that adds to the atmosphere. Highly recommended.

I came with my family and loved how at home this place felt, surrounded by greenery. The food was good, especially the pappardelle with wild boar, which was really tasty.
