We kept our usual rhythm: breakfast, a swim, a sandwich and drink at lunch, a nap, then a trip to one of the nearby towns. Ostuni and Monopoli were charming. We skipped the beaches because it was windy, and the pool turned out to be a great alternative, never crowded, with nice people around. The resort sits in quiet countryside among olive trees that must be around 200 years old, and the staff were a big part of why this was one of our most relaxing family holidays. We came back to Puglia this year because there's so much to do with kids, including Zoo Safari, Fasanolandia Theme Park, Alberobello, and the caves at Castellana. We even met celebrities there! The Casale is a small resort of around 30 rooms, mostly families, with a fantastic pool and a really nice team. Breakfast was plentiful without being over the top. The restaurant is a bit pricey, but the food was outstanding, and they use the same menu for lunch and dinner. My kids loved the red potato gnocchi with peanut butter and crunchy bacon, while I preferred the orecchiette with turnip green (cima di rapa). Twice they offered us a glass of chilled white wine. It costs management little, but made us feel special. The young team were great, cleaning was impeccable, and they were attentive and patient. Highly recommended.

The venue felt relaxed and exactly right for us, and I couldn't have asked for more. From the planning stage right through to leaving after our June 2024 wedding, everyone at Casale Del Murgese was fantastic. The staff, service, facilities, and food were all wonderful. Thanks so much for making our dream Irish wedding in Italy come true. 🥰

We visited at the end of May and left wondering if we were missing something, given the pretty good ratings. The atmosphere felt off. The staff were nice, but the service and the rooms didn't feel worth the price.

The pool was stunning, and the resort itself was magnificent. The whole wedding felt like a fairytale, and Casale brought our Apulian-style vision to life. We hadn't visited the area before our wedding, but Casale del Murgese still exceeded all our expectations. The food was so good that even our local Italian family enjoyed it, which says a lot about its quality and service. The staff at Casale were top-notch, and we felt in great hands. All the hotel amenities were good, and as Americans with American guests, having air conditioners in each room was especially nice. The only downside is that we didn't stay longer. Don't think twice about booking here, you're in good hands with the team at Casale del Murgese.
