Palazzina Alchimia

From the rooftop terrace, I could look over the town and down toward the sea. It was just right for morning coffee and evening yoga. I spent six nights here in September on my own, and it was a fantastic experience. Caroline is a caring host; her beach and restaurant tips were excellent. The three-story palazzo sits centrally by the main plaza in this quiet town. The historic building has been renovated and furnished to an incredibly high, perhaps German, standard. As someone who loves design and architecture, I couldn’t have asked for a better place to stay. A real treasure. Thank you, Caroline, keep doing what you do. Wunderbar!

Caroline was a thoughtful, gracious host. She gave us the information we needed, showed us around, and was easy to reach, always responding promptly and helpfully to questions. The Palazzino looked almost too good to be true when we first found it, but it was just as it appeared online. The compact kitchen has everything you need. Its lively design fits the style of the ancient Palazzino, and the rooftop has a view of the coast. There’s room for two to relax on the sunbed. The spot is ideal, close to the centre of a sleepy yet lively Italian town, with plenty of nice shops.

A remarkable space, run very well.

The Palazzino Alchimia was a fantastic place to stay. Its beautiful architecture really brings you into Apulia, and the accommodation was very clean. Caroline was welcoming and quick to answer messages, and she did a lot to make the stay memorable. Fasano is easy to explore from this central location, with plenty of shops and restaurants nearby. We’ll definitely come back.
