As soon as we saw the condition of the house, we refused to stay and asked for an immediate refund. The rooms were filthy, with fungi growing from the floors and unsanitary conditions that seemed worse than what you'd expect after the First World War. There were also sheets and towels left behind by previous tourists, probably never changed, and the mattresses were no longer fit for people. The house was in 'not optimal' shape, to put it mildly, for six guests, including two pregnant women, even though the owner had known we were coming for over a month. The villa could be very nice, but it wasn’t fit for people to stay in, let alone pets. My dog lives in a cleaner environment. This is a disgrace for tourism in Puglia. I gave it one star only because there’s no option for zero. Definitely to be reported to the Nas.
