BELLA! !!!!

The owner's repeated denials of agreements we'd already made made the stay deeply disappointing. It felt unprofessional and disrespectful. The room wasn't properly clean, and even toilet paper was missing from the bathroom. The pool area wasn't relaxing: there was constant noise, the loungers and deckchairs were old and broken, and the water seemed improperly treated. My eyes burned badly after only a few minutes. Dogs were also left roaming around the property without supervision, which made it feel uncomfortable and unsafe. A very negative stay, and I wouldn't recommend it.

The best part of the villa is outside: the pool is a generous 1.40 meters deep, with a stunning view over the Agrigento coastline. After a hot day out, an evening swim at sunset is a pleasure. It's a little isolated, but only a few kilometers from the fantastic Valley of the Temples and the towns. Inside, the place is beautiful and comfortable, and the cleanliness is top notch, well above average. It's a great rental for a group of 8-10, with four well-equipped rooms, each with air conditioning, a hairdryer, mosquito nets, and a private bathroom with a comfortable shower. There isn't a bidet, though there is a showerhead. The spacious kitchen really has everything: microwave, blender, toaster, capsule and traditional coffee makers, oil, salt, and more. There's also a barbecue, washing machine, detergents, dishcloths, and so on. Antonio is extremely responsive and helpful, both before and during the stay, even with simple advice about sights and shopping. He takes almost obsessive care of the pool. An automatic cleaner runs at night, and he comes to the villa each morning at 7:30 to finish cleaning it. If you like privacy, that early visit may not suit you. I used the time to relax by the pool and get his tips, and without him I wouldn't have gone to Punta Bianca and Cala Vincenzina coves. If you'd rather stay indoors and sleep, there's no privacy concern.
