Belmonte Hotel

We stayed in the annex of Alba Palace and had nothing to complain about. The rooms were modern, clean, beautiful, and soundproofed. Breakfast was plentiful and good quality. The location is a strong point too, about 15 minutes from the Valley of the Temples and San Leone. Highly recommended.

The generous breakfast buffet was delicious, and we could eat inside the restaurant or out on the terrace. The hotel is good value and highly recommended. We stayed one night while passing through Agrigento, with the Valley of the Temples only about 15 minutes away. It's a lovely, well-appointed hotel in a tastefully renovated building. Our room was spacious and clean, with a large bathroom and a really nice, roomy shower.

Call the hotel instead of relying on GPS. They'll guide you there. We got turned around among the ruins and the narrow, bumpy lanes in old Favara, but seeing the B&B, the hotel, and its welcoming staff made us realize how hard many residents are working to revive the town and draw visitors. Favara is beautiful, with churches to see, and it's near other cities and special places like the Valley of the Temples and Agrigento. The B&B, hotel, and staff deserve five stars for doing their best to make guests feel wonderful in a place that needs to be reborn.

The Hotel Belmonte feels like a little pocket of modern comfort in an old Sicilian building, carefully brought back to life. It’s tucked on a side street off a small square in Favara, where there are two churches, a little castle, and a few shops worth a look. My room was quiet, clean, and looked after, and the young staff were friendly and capable without hovering. I spent four nights there and loved the breakfasts, especially the Sicilian pastries. They also brought coffee or cappuccino when I asked, and the valet looked after my car. For this area, I’d say it’s the best place to stay.
