Even though I usually can’t stand city noise, I found this place peaceful. When the wind moved through the olive and palm leaves, and the sunset came into view, it felt healing 💆🏻♀️🌴. The family was so kind to me that I’d love to come back with my own family. Grazie mille ciao! Next time I’ll learn Italian and come back 😁

A smashing spot for an overnight stay.

Breakfast was the one good part, though it meant driving 5-6 km because the accommodation is outside town. The price was very high for what was provided, and the value was terrible. The outside looked lovely, and I took several photos, but inside was awful. There was no bidet and no heat in either the bathroom or bedroom. The room with two single beds had been made from a former garage, with only a small opening high up where a window should have been. It felt like a hovel. Our friends had it worse: a partition separated a sofa bed in the apartment entrance from what was supposed to be another bedroom. The animals were upsetting too. A young Maremma-style dog was tied to a one-meter chain and could barely move, barking almost constantly. A horse was tied to a tree with a piece of rope, and goats were also tied with rope inside a pen. I documented what I saw in photos. It was real, not something made up.
