Don’t come here! It looks beautiful, but our stay was a nightmare. Everything was terrible: dirty, filthy, dark, and full of cockroaches. We’ve never had a worse stay. We checked in late, there wasn’t even any electricity, and when we asked for a drying rack, we got nothing. There were spiders behind the bed, cockroaches in the house, and damp and mold everywhere. The second entrance door wouldn’t close, so we felt at risk of being robbed. Electricians and plumbers kept coming and going, even though we expected privacy. The pool was filthy, and there wasn’t even an outdoor light so we could eat dinner outside. Awful! What we didn’t like: In the evening, we couldn’t use the portico, pool, or barbecue because the lights didn’t work. The key didn’t work in the second entrance door, so it wouldn’t lock and we had to leave it open, with anyone able to come in. There was no drying rack for our swimsuits and towels. Outside was filthy, with cobwebs all over the tables, chairs, and doors, and months’ worth of dirt. Cobwebs like that don’t appear in a day. The pool hadn’t even been swept. We had to ask for it to be cleaned. And no, it wasn’t the wind. I don’t believe the wind could carry an adjustable wrench and screws 50 cm long! The garden had been pruned, but the cuttings hadn’t even been cleared away. These are all services listed as available on Booking, but we couldn’t use them. I could have booked an ordinary room without outdoor space or a pool and saved a lot of money. The rooms smelled unbearably of paint, the bedside tables were broken and full of damp, the shower was black, parts of the house were coming loose, and the bathroom cabinet had given way. We’ve never found conditions like this even in the worst dive. We paid over €600 for three nights, more than €200 a night, and couldn’t even use basic facilities like the outdoor light for eating outside.
