From the balcony, the view of the majestic Alps and Fenis Castle was breathtaking. I still see it in my dreams. July was already a flawless experience, and I can only imagine how Valle d'Aosta looks in winter when it puts on its nicest clothes. This is a perfect 10 hotel and my personal favorite. I’m usually a tough evaluator, but trust my word and my Genius level 3 status. I’ll definitely stay again when I’m back in Valle d'Aosta. Grazie mille amici!!

A pleasant hotel with a nice concept. The rooms are clean and have everything you need. Breakfast is a reduced Italian-style spread, though the hot coffee drinks are good. The service is friendly, but sometimes you need a little patience when things take longer. That's bearable. Dinner on half board was fine, and all the dishes are freshly cooked. All in all, a nice place!

The mountain-facing rooms are worth considering, the view is lovely and we'd choose one if we came back. We found the room very clean, with a comfortable bed and a great shower. The pillows were on the firm side, though. It was good value for the price, but the “castle view” looked mostly over the parking lot and came with extra noise, so we didn't think the added cost was worthwhile. Breakfast was good, with one hot drink included per person.

After arriving late from a long drive, we were able to get straight into bed. The friendly owners had sent us an entry code and left the keys on the reception desk. In the morning, a smiling staff member served us a nice Italian breakfast with fresh coffee, pastries, sweets and yoghurt. A lovely start to our time in Italy. It's not a luxury place, but it has what you need, plus free parking in front and a great mountain view.

The hotel's location right across from the Castle of Fènis made for a lovely evening walk there. It felt safe, and the castle looked spectacular. We also had a pleasant dinner at the hotel restaurant, and our rooms were comfortable. I really liked the idea behind this "ethical" hotel and would love to see more projects like it. A lovely stay, recommended!
