A lovely farmhouse-style B&B, with a very attentive owner who made us feel well looked after. I plan to stay here again the next time I'm visiting Parma.

It's about a 40-minute drive from Parma city centre, on the hills nearby and close to the medieval castle. The country house has a big garden and an old-fashioned feel, with traditional country furniture. Breakfast was good.

We were delighted with our stay at Elisabetta's B&B. Breakfast was a real treat, with lots of quality options: the owner had baked cakes that morning, and there were freshly squeezed juices, eggs from their own chickens, fruit salads and cured meats. The spacious house and garden are kept in excellent condition, and our large room was spotless and tastefully decorated. We'll definitely return.

The historic parlor and its wonderful breakfast were the highlight for us. Pilar and her mother's B&B is a lovely 18th-century manor house on the way to Torrechiara, tastefully renovated and furnished with period pieces. We'll be back!
