It was nice staying somewhere family-run instead of at a corporate hotel, and the rooms have attractive older-style furnishings. We had a terrace, but the highway traffic was so loud that we couldn’t use it. The dining room is tastefully decorated, but the meal disappointed. The pastas weren’t homemade, my ravioli wasn’t heated through, and my beef tagliata rucola had gristle that should’ve been trimmed off before the meat was cut.

We had a delicious dinner at Tre Archi: two carbonaras, mixed grilled pork for secondi, and a litre of house rosso wine. The bill came to €38, which was more than reasonable. We highly recommend it.

We stayed on a Monday evening, when the restaurant was meant to be closed. When we asked where we could eat, they opened it for us. This is a lovely family-owned and run hotel and ristorante. The food and accommodation were wonderful, and the relaxed family atmosphere and service felt generous and sincere. You can’t fake the real thing.
