Doda made our three-day stay especially enjoyable with her warm welcome, courtesy, and helpfulness. The views over the countryside are peaceful, and the history all around gives this thoughtfully restored old village a special feel. Guesthouse Runcini is also well placed for Piediluco Lake, Marmore Falls, charming Scheggino, and other sights. It’s a lovely place to get away from it all while still being close to plenty of places to visit, and it works well for families too. Highly recommended.

We had a great time with the owners at their wonderful project on a hilltop in a medieval village. The rooms were comfortable and very clean, and the Wi-Fi was good. The Covid rules were in place, and there’s a fun outdoor grill station for anyone who likes to cook for themselves. The surrounding nature is powerful and inspiring, yet Marmore Falls and the usual amenities aren’t far away. The owners were spectacular. Come here for a little story to tell when you get back, and enjoy a good time out of time. We’re thinking about booking the place for New Year with friends. See you next time! OnroadBob
