B&B Le Terrazze

Cosy, good rooms, and close to the centre. Elisabetta, the goddess who runs the place, is incredibly helpful. What else do you need?!

It took ages for the woman to bring the change after she said it'd be ready in a minute or two. The room felt freezing and unwelcoming. Hot water in the shower lasted just two minutes, then turned cold, so washing was impossible. The service was terrible. Breakfast was €5 per person, but you had to fetch it from the bar, and it was way overpriced. They asked whether we wanted an invoice, then only afterwards said the tourist tax would be charged with it. All the soaps had been opened, so who knows who'd used them.

The best part of Le Terazze is Elisabetta, the owner and manager. She's so welcoming and helpful, and knows Fermo and the surrounding area well, making her a great guide. The place is right in the centre of the old city walls, yet my room looked out over the beautiful Marche countryside. I spent two days here for the Manu Chao concert in Fermo, and liked having a fully equipped kitchen to make breakfast or a snack and eat on the lovely rooftop terrace. I'm coming back to Le Terazze in Fermo for a few days in October.

The rooftop terrace has a magnificent, unobstructed view of the Sibillini Mountains. I stayed in one of the three cosy rooms in this B&B in Fermo's historic centre. It had a private bathroom. The price was very competitive, breakfast wasn't included, but guests can use the well-equipped kitchen. Wi-Fi is included and available.
