Breakfast could have offered a little more, but the prices were reasonable and the staff were helpful and friendly. My room was small, though comfortable, with new, well-kept furnishings in a simple modern style. The hotel is very clean and sits in Ferrara's historic center, making all the attractions easy to reach.

Maria, the owner, was so kind and made me feel at home. My room was spacious, beautiful, and spotless, with a lovely view onto the pedestrian street and flower-filled windowsills. I was really happy with my choice. Staying at the Romano Hotel again is a sure thing. Thanks so much for everything, I loved my stay in the center of Ferrara.

The buffet breakfast had a good variety. My room was roomy, clean, and comfortable, though the double bed was two separate single frames that weren't fastened together. That was a serious annoyance and affected my rating.
