The location is superb. After checking in, we went straight to the nearby centro storico and had a lovely, relaxed evening. The owner and manageress were welcoming, the styling was tastefully done, and the breakfast room was lovely. It's an easy choice to understand, and I wish the other hotels on our holiday had been this good.

Breakfast was good, and the staff were friendly, but the room had several problems. The air conditioning barely worked, so it got very hot. An upper window in the toilet was left open and was impossible to shut, and mosquitoes got into the bedroom overnight. We kept the doors closed because there were no mosquito nets. The chair upholstery was dirty, and the table was unstable, as the video shows.

The location was great, and at least the bed and towels were very clean. But the place is really dated, and our upstairs room smelled of sewage. The toilet barely flushed, and neither the sink nor shower drained properly.
