When we got there, the only person available to show us in was the cleaner, who spoke only Spanish. A neighbour had to translate and talk to the owner. Nobody had communicated with us, and we were treated with contempt. Don't come here expecting a welcome, because you won't get one.

The location in Ferrara's historic center is really convenient, and Gold Apartment was extremely clean and comfortable. It's a modern, cosy flat that made us feel welcome as soon as we walked in, even though Luca wasn't there to greet us. Communication with Luca was great. He was always available and happy to answer our questions at any time of day. Gold Apartment is the best place to stay in Ferrara, and I'll definitely return next time. Grazie Luca!!!

The apartments feel welcoming and work well for families who want a quality stay. The owners were kind and ready to help, and the price felt very reasonable. I'd happily come back another time and recommend them.

At €350.00 a night, I expected the coffee pod to at least be compatible. They could have offered a half-liter of water instead of charging for it, which would have helped with the lack of hospitality I mentioned. With staff absent, I was left trying various codes while abroad.

Right in the center, this is a great base for visiting Ferrara. The apartment is spacious and elegant, and both times I've stayed it was clean and welcoming. The woman who rents it is extremely friendly and helpful. I highly recommend it.
