The parents were extremely nice and refined. They helped guide our car to nearby parking and gave us an excellent map and orientation to the city. The people and place were lovely otherwise, especially if it isn’t hot, since the air conditioning struggled on a hot day. The showerhead fell on my head and couldn’t be repositioned while I was showering. After I left a partly critical review about the air conditioning on another site, the son who handles reservations pursued me with abusive emails.

We were right in the heart of the old town, in beautiful, charming rooms. The host was wonderful and knew a lot about the area. Bikes were available, and I only wish we could’ve stayed longer. It would make a good base for Florence and Venice!
