10/10
The room was bright, spacious and spotless, with large windows that opened all the way. The hotel is just a short walk from the city centre, so exploring Ferrara on foot was easy. Staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful throughout our stay. Breakfast was exquisite, with a fresh, varied spread of pastries, cereals, fruit, meats, cheeses and juices. The coffee was easily the best we had in Italy. We also really appreciated the team fitting in a very last-minute late checkout. Our plans had changed unexpectedly, and it saved us from spending hours in Ferrara with our luggage. We had a wonderful visit and are already looking forward to returning in September!

The room was a good size, quiet at night, and the air conditioning worked well during our April stay. Staff were courteous and helpful. The hotel is central, very close to the castle, and the bus and fly stop for Bologna Airport is right outside.

Castello Estense is less than 100 meters away, and the airport bus stop is only about 50 meters from the hotel. The location really couldn't be better. It’s a cute, cosy place right in the city centre, and the staff were great, always helpful and supportive.

The breakfast room was fantastic, and everything served was so fresh. Our room was clean, and the staff were especially friendly. The hotel is right by the castle, so the location is great too. If I return to Ferrara, I’d stay here again. I honestly can’t understand why it doesn’t have more stars. I recommend booking on the hotel website. If you have a special request, just contact reception. They were super nice every time.

Breakfast was amazing by Italian standards, and the breakfast staff were very kind. The receptionists were just as helpful. We had a spacious, comfortable room with nicely decorated interiors, only a two-minute walk from Este castle. I’d definitely recommend it for a stay in Ferrara.
