Merlhof

The apartment was clean and well equipped, and we liked the view from the balcony. There wasn’t much to complain about, though the animal smell may bother you if you’re not used to staying on a farm. What really affected our rating was the bill: we’d agreed on €90 per night, but the next day, when I paid, it had gone up to €95. Over five days that was €25 extra. We chose not to raise it because of the language barrier, but it left us with a poor impression of the attitude, so we rated the stay three stars instead of five.

Clean, pleasant apartments.

The owner was very kind and happy to answer our questions, and we were even able to get into the apartment before the usual check-in time. Our place could sleep five and had lots of space, was clean, and had all the comforts we needed. It’s also in a handy spot, just two minutes from the central square, public transport, the pharmacy, a bar, the local tourist information center, and the agricultural consortium.

Three years ago, our campervan broke down while we were traveling with our young son. The owner kindly came to pick us up from the next town so we could bring our luggage, which we really appreciated. The rooms, courtyard, pool, and nearby surroundings were all excellent. Thank you so much.
