Brunet - The Dolomites Resort

We chose one of the larger rooms, and it had plenty of space for two adults and our young child. Since it hasn’t been renovated, it still has a traditional Alpine look, which we liked. The lobby and reception area are beautifully designed, and the hotel feels very welcoming to children, with staff and facilities geared toward little ones. We had events to attend, so we couldn’t make use of the spa or kids club this time. We’ll definitely return and enjoy more of the hotel.

We came for a birthday and booked the hotel’s most expensive room, listed at 25 square meters, for March 3 to 4. What we were given felt closer to 16 square meters and was next to the elevator and stairs. When we raised it, the owners insisted the room was 25 square meters, even though it plainly wasn’t and could have been measured. They did nothing to fix the situation. While trying to get the room we had booked, we missed both the spa and dinner. We were still charged for the larger room and for the spa, which we never used, after spending the stay in a tiny, noisy room. The whole break and our mood were spoiled. I left feeling disgusted. The family who own the hotel came across as greedy and brazen.

We had a wonderfully relaxing day in the Dolomites, and the spa made it especially enjoyable. There are several facilities to use throughout your stay, and even after checkout you can spend a few more hours there. The staff were so helpful. We’d left something in our room, and they arranged to send it back to us. I’d happily recommend staying here if you’re looking for a bit of pampering.
