We’re already thinking about coming back. It’s an easy bus ride into Florence, just minutes away, but the stay itself feels tucked into nature and away from the road. Claudio was super helpful, and breakfast was amazing. A lovely place for a couple of quiet days, and I’d happily recommend it.

You’d never guess a city was nearby while you’re at the property, yet Florence is only about a 30 minute bus ride away. Claudio runs the B&B on his own and does a great job. I had such a fantastic stay that I’m now looking for similar B&Bs for future trips. Couldn’t recommend it more.

The animals were a fun bonus: Daisy the dog and the two cats kept us company, and we even shared an evening meal with other guests after cooking together on the grill. We spent four days at Claudio’s place while visiting Florence, and it was a relaxing break from the city, with the bus stop a short walk away. Our large room, the one with two windows above the outdoor dining table in the photos, had a nice river breeze; opening the windows kept it cool at night. The bed was very comfortable, breakfast was just right, and Claudio was a wonderful host. We really enjoyed chatting with him and would absolutely stay again.

Getting into Firenze is straightforward: the bus stop at the top of the road is the last stop on line 14, and Claudio explains the details when you arrive. We stayed in the Tower (Torre), with its beautifully restored interior, comfortable bed, air conditioning, and an amazing river view. There’s a peaceful outdoor area with hammocks, tables, chairs, and a pool. The place sits right on the banks of the Arno river, and Claudio was a delight, helpful and funny. What a lovely find.
