I wanted to show my wife and my sister and her husband a Tuscan winery as we were leaving Florence, and this turned out to be the perfect choice. Martina, the daughter in this family-run vineyard, arranged a private tour and wine and olive oil tasting for us. She knows her craft extremely well. We’ve visited several wineries around the world, but this was our best experience. We learned a lot, took home a couple of bottles of excellent wine and olive oil, and ordered a case to be shipped back home. I highly recommend it.

We stopped during our E-bikes Florence tour and had a flight of wines with charcuterie and bruschetta. Everything was amazing, and the Tuscan views were gorgeous. The staff were kind and helpful, and they packed the wine and olive oil we bought in bubble wrap for our flight. Definitely recommend stopping here!

We made an afternoon of the winery visit, and it was a great way to fill some free time in Florence. The tasting and learning about the wine and olive oil were enjoyable even for me, and I’m more of a “cheap wine” drinker. Wine lovers will find it a must-do. We walked up the winding hillside from Girone with a stroller, so we definitely earned that wine. It was a tough walk, but the scenery was beautiful, and relaxing at the top with the view made it worth it. The weather forecast wasn’t looking good for our original booking, so I emailed to move it to the same day I booked. They were very helpful, and greeted us with warm smiles when we arrived.

We stopped here during my bike tour and tried their award-winning olive oil and local red wine. The welcome was warm, and we got an introduction to the property plus a thorough explanation of how the oil is made and how to care for this golden product. A real gem in Fiesole, highly recommend it to everyone.

A perfect break after a few hours on our e-bike tour. We tasted a few wines and had something to eat, while the owner shared a little history of the vineyard. I picked up some really good olive oil and shampoo, and would love to stay here one day! And I’m sorry again for feeding Diana the cat.
