If you want to explore Florence and the surrounding area but stay somewhere quieter and away from other tourists, this is a great choice. The rooms are spacious and the setting is beautiful. Breakfast was delicious, the host was super, and the owner's dog is very friendly. Highly recommend.

My little dog and I had a wonderful first trip together at Villa Campolungo. We felt comfortable and relaxed, with lovely rooms and a beautiful estate. We stayed at Villa Campolungo in July and really liked the peaceful spot outside the city bustle and heat, with Fiesole and Florence an easy drive away. The terrace has a beautiful view of Fiesole, and the hosts were lovely. The rooms are spacious, with AC, modern bathrooms, and big comfortable beds. The original architecture and style have been kept, and the furniture and materials feel high quality. Breakfast was generous, with sweet and savory choices, including fresh local cheeses and cakes. The produce is organic and locally sourced or from their own garden, which feels like a real focus on sustainability and quality. Highly recommend!
