Villa Flavia 16

We were there for two weeks and had everything we needed. Villa Flavia in Filottrano was fantastic, with clean, tidy grounds and a fully fenced property with an electric gate. The big pool was a favorite. It's good for children, though little ones should wear swim shoes, and at about 15 meters it's also long enough for laps. Lucio surprised us after about a week with two more parasols, bringing the poolside total to four. He was always polite and discreet, ready to answer questions, and often brought us vegetables from his garden. A heartfelt thanks to our house sitter! The spacious kitchen worked especially well for our group of 14. The water dispenser gave us a steady supply of ice-cold still or sparkling water. The hot water boiler sometimes switches off if six people shower, but it comes back on straight away with a button press. Small shops, including an SI supermarket, and good places to eat are right in Filottrano, around a 5-10 minute drive away. We liked Beerstrot for burgers, Mac Max for pizza and burgers, and La Torre for takeaway fish. Bigger supermarkets such as Conad Superstore are about 30 minutes away.
