The view of the Blum River is lovely, and the tidy garden makes the approach to the restaurant feel inviting. Pamela was a warm, attentive host and helped create a relaxed atmosphere. I like how the renovated bistro gives the hotel a more current, open feel while keeping its family tradition. It’s separate from the main restaurant and welcomes people who aren’t staying at the hotel too. The business lunch is a great option, with a choice of starters, first courses, and mains that mix traditional and newer ideas. You can choose how many courses to have, with the price adjusted accordingly. Dessert is offered, and water, coffee, and cover charge are included. A lovely place for a good lunch or a bit of downtime, with excellent food.

I was curious about the new bistro after the renovation, and it looks lovely, simple, and well cared for. The business lunch has a set price that depends on how many courses you choose, ranging from €12-14 to €24. Service was quick and on time, which is handy for a lunch break, and the staff were friendly and knew their stuff. The fish soup was excellent. I didn’t rate the rooms since I didn’t stay there.
