Domus Barberini

Getting here is easy by bus or Metro, with a stop on Metro line A less than two minutes away. The owner is very friendly and there whenever you need him. Breakfast is included. Don't expect a German breakfast, but there's nothing to complain about. The hotel is a beautiful, nicely decorated and cosy place to stay in Rome. My one concern was the shower water temperature, which was hard to control and could suddenly turn very cold or hot. Thank you, Enzo!

We slept well, with comfortable beds and no noise, and the shutters made the room dark. The place is extremely clean, smells amazing and has good wifi. Enzo puts out treats, juice and coffee every morning in the shared room. He's incredibly generous and friendly, and went out of his way to make us feel welcome. The metro is two minutes away and connects you to the whole city. I absolutely loved our stay. It's a perfect place for families, couples or friends. Grazie mille Enzo!

We travelled with our one-year-old and they provided a cot. When there was a problem with the shower drain, they sorted it out promptly. The service was really good, and I highly recommend the place.

The shared kitchen is well equipped, with a large new machine for coffee, cappuccino and hot chocolate available any time. Breakfast had delicious croissants and other things, plus water and juice. We could leave our cups and cutlery in the sink for Paola to wash. The house has disabled access, and there's parking a minute's walk away. This was our second visit to Rome, and we stayed at Domus Barberini again for lots of good reasons. Paola, the owner, is a lovely woman who welcomed us warmly and chatted with us. The rooms are spacious and clean, with modern furniture that makes you feel at ease. We stayed in the first room on the left as you enter the house. It had a heater, a big window, a TV and two beds, one single and one double. The toilet is private, and since we're in Italy, there's a bidet too. That's almost everything! Thank you, Paola. See you soon, with love from Fano!
