I paid €50, which felt high for what we got. Breakfast was just like the picture, nothing special. The woman who greeted us was friendly, and the building has a charming but unsettling look from outside. Payment by POS wasn't possible that day, at least as far as I could tell. The bathroom was dirty: there were about twenty pubic hairs in the shower tray, plus a cardboard tube from a used toilet paper roll. The duvet had a big orange stain. Although the heating was on, the high-up room stayed cold, so we used the electric heater provided. A high glass window looking onto the hallway let in the lights when other guests got up in the morning. At night the strong wind rattled the shutters and pipes, and as a light sleeper, I slept terribly.

I left very satisfied with my choice, and if I come back to Fisciano, I'd stay here again. The bathroom was large, neat and spotless, the room had enough space for two, and the lady who welcomed me was very kind. Everything inside was clean and tidy. The worn exterior belongs to a building from around 1700, and the staircase in the entrance is still rather rustic. That initially lowered my expectations, and the outside appearance does overshadow the good parts inside. Still, this is a budget B&B, so the modest look fits the price range. You shouldn't expect luxury, but in every other respect, it holds up as well as other places.

The area is calm, and there are restaurants and pizzerias nearby, as well as free parking. Inside, the rooms are comfortable, with spacious, tidy private bathrooms, and prices are very competitive. The exterior looks a little creepy.

The photos really don't capture the place. Rooms are clean and nicely furnished, and the bathroom is roomy with everything needed. Breakfast was very complete, too, and the lady in charge was meticulous and so kind. Truly 6-star.
