Best Western Hotel Rome Airport

Everything was handled smoothly and professionally, and I had a wonderful stay. Andreea deserves special thanks for her kindness, attention to detail, and professionalism. She went out of her way to make things comfortable and stress-free, and her positive attitude made a real difference. She's a real asset to the hotel, and I'd highly recommend staying here.

We booked two rooms at BW FCO at 04:23 on 5 January, after British Airways cancelled our early flight overnight and left our international-travelling family scrambling for somewhere to stay. A few hours later, BA rescheduled our flights again after another error, so we needed to cancel. After many calls, disconnected lines, and waits of 20 minutes or more with Best Western contacts in Italy, locally, and in the US, Francesco, the Best Western FCO manager, refused to refund the rooms. We were calling just hours after booking and asking for some kindness and customer service in very difficult circumstances. Policies do exist, but a little understanding goes a long way when air travel plans change like this. Francesco and the BW FCO team showed no exceptional customer service and he wouldn't reconsider. I don't recommend Best Western for Italy, Rome, or anywhere. Hilton was much more understanding and accommodating about a situation that happens often with air travel these days.

We wanted an affordable hotel near the airport with a shuttle and a decent breakfast to set us up for a full day of travel. The room was basic but clean, and the staff were friendly and spoke good English. We ate dinner at the hotel's restaurant and found the food better than expected. The buffet breakfast was amazing. We'd definitely recommend staying here.

The breakfast was excellent, and the location worked really well. The hotel is new and has an airport shuttle for an extra fee. The room felt small, especially with all our luggage.
