The serious problem for me was safety. There was only one way out of the room, and the windows were barred and couldn't be opened. I consider that a major fire hazard. As I understand international fire safety standards, a sleeping area should have at least two escape routes in an emergency, and fixed window bars seem extremely dangerous and likely not compliant with fire codes. I called the property about this, and a staff member eventually came down. She was rude, didn't acknowledge my concern or offer help, and told me to leave if I didn't like it. She also said there were no other rooms, although Booking.com showed another listing in the same building as available. The room was dirty, ants had infested the breakfast area, and the food was poor. The online photos don't match what we found. After I left a review on the booking site, management replied dismissively, calling it “a new way to upgrade an accommodation.” That was rude and unprofessional. Given the safety risks, poor hygiene, and lack of basic customer service, I strongly recommend thinking twice before booking.

The host was easy to reach on WhatsApp and seemed nice, but the room was dirty, with ants across the floor and bugs inside. Breakfast was the worst we had in Italy. The area didn't feel welcoming, and I wouldn't recommend it if you're relying on trains. A single trip from the airport cost €8, after we'd already paid €12 to get there from Rome. There are better places nearby with direct shuttles for €6. Apart from the mall, there aren't any shops or nice restaurants within walking distance.

The room was neat, clean, and had everything needed for a continental breakfast. Just keep in mind this is a B&B, not a full service hotel. It's fairly far from Rome but near the airport, and close to the metro. Getting a cab can be difficult, so we booked a limo service before leaving home for rides to Rome, the port, and the airport. There are restaurants about 200-250 yards away in a large mall on the left as you leave the apartments.

The room was nicely decorated and came with a kitchen, snacks, and even an iron, which none of the other five hotels we stayed at had. The host was very nice, and they offered an airport shuttle at a fair price.

These are newly developed apartments you can rent by the day or for longer. They’re comfortable and very clean, with facilities that would cost a lot extra in a hotel. The fast track train to the airport is easy to reach, or they can shuttle you directly for a little less. WiFi was fast at 80 Mb. Getting to Rome Termini takes a long but inexpensive 40-minute journey, which is a shame.
