The room turned out to be the best one of our whole trip, very spacious and spotless, with the most comfortable bed we had in Italy. The outside and the surrounding area hadn't made a great first impression, and I was worried enough to consider booking somewhere else. But the receptionist was so kind, attentive, and welcoming, and check-in and check-out went smoothly. It's a shame we stayed only one night near the airport on our last evening, since this was the most comfortable hotel of our trip.

I arrived at about 11:15 PM for a one-night stay booked through Agoda, but reception was closed. There was a sign saying it closed at 11 PM, though that check-in deadline had not been clearly disclosed before I booked. I tried calling and emailing the property, but got no reply at the time, so I couldn't check in and had to find somewhere else late at night. It caused a lot of stress and extra expense. If you're considering staying here, I'd strongly suggest confirming the check-in deadline directly, especially if you'll arrive late. The property later called me a “liar” in response to this review. What I wrote is factual: I arrived at about 11:15 PM, reception was closed, and the deadline hadn't been clearly disclosed to me before I booked through Agoda. Update 2: I can confirm the owner did call me a “Lier.” FYI, it's spelled LIAR. Hope that helps!

THIEVES! I saw the room on Agoda for €100, but the receptionist told me it was €160. Even after I showed her on the map that it was the same hotel, she insisted it wasn't and said it made no difference, that €160 was the only price, and that I shouldn't book online. Be careful!

I arrived a few minutes after 11 and found everything closed, with nobody at reception. I'd tried calling before 11, but no one answered. The restaurant next door gave me the entry code, but I still couldn't get into my room and had to stay in the corridor. Awful service, especially since I paid 50 euros for one night sleeping out there.

We booked two nights through hotels.com a month before arriving in Italy because we needed a room from morning until late evening before our next flight. The hotel messaged in the app asking when we'd arrive, and we said it would be in the morning after our flight. They never replied to say that arrival time wouldn't work. If they had, we would have cancelled. We got there at 9 am after an overnight flight from the US, but nobody was at the front desk. We called repeatedly without an answer, and there was no other number posted. After waiting 30 minutes, we left and went around the corner to a better-staffed hotel. I wouldn't book this place again. They clearly don't care about customer service.
