Enea House

The room was lovely, clean, and well kept, with a very comfortable bed and pillows, good WiFi, and air conditioning. The newly renovated house had a calm, welcoming feel, and the terrace looked lovely, though I only saw it at night. I booked at the last minute and arrived half an hour after opening time, but the receptionist kindly waited for me and arranged an airport shuttle for early the next morning. Since I had to leave at 4:30 am, I missed the included breakfast, but it was nice to be able to get coffee at any time. I only missed having shower gel in the bathroom. One tip for other guests, taxis around there may not want to take you to places near the airport because the fares are lower. I had a very pleasant stay and would recommend it if you need to be near the airport.

Thomas was very attentive and friendly, and managed our very late check-in. The bed was comfortable, the linen was good quality, and the room was better decorated than most Italian hotels I've stayed in. Some small things let it down: the shower gel container was empty, the curtains didn't close properly, and breakfast was pretty low grade, with cake choices and vending machine coffee. It's decent value for an airport-convenient B&B, with really friendly service.

Tommas even suggested a good restaurant just a five-minute walk away, and both the food and staff there were terrific. It's a lovely little neighborhood. He also called after my flight landed to check how I was getting there, then came to pick me up and take me straight to the BnB for free. That personal touch meant a lot. The location is peaceful and away from busy roads, and everything was spotless, including the bathroom, shower, bed, sheets, and outdoor waiting area. The A/C worked perfectly, which really matters in summer. The shower had decent pressure and hot water. It's a cozy space for two, with plenty of room for one. I'll definitely stay here again. Staying here makes flying into or out of Italy much nicer than staying in Rome. Thank you, Tommas and the others :)

The best part was our host, Thomas. We were confused about transit and struggling to reach the place, and he immediately offered to pick us up. He was kind throughout and made us feel at home right away. Enea House Bed and Breakfast was comfortable and convenient, especially with the airport so close. If we come back to Rome, we'll stay at Enea House again.
