We wanted to stay outside central Rome before heading home, and this quiet beach town was a good fit, with miles of beach and restaurants along the seafront. The B&B was comfortable, secure, and nice, and the owner was very accommodating. It’s affordable and about 30 minutes from Rome airport. Check-in takes place at La Scialuppa restaurant.

Right in historic Fregene, this lovely B&B is just steps from the sea. The staff are friendly and helpful, and there’s a large outdoor area where you can enjoy breakfast in the sun. Recommended.

We’ve come back for a second stay, and the care in this little B&B stands out again. It’s clean, tastefully done, and full of thoughtful details, with a lovely lawned garden just behind the beach. Valentina and Filippo are warm, kind, and welcoming, and that same care shows in everything from the furnishings to breakfast. It’s a peaceful oasis about 30 km from Rome. We’ll be back again.

The B&B is very nice and in an excellent spot, just a stone’s throw from the sea. We didn’t like the takeaway we ordered from the Scialuppa restaurant at all, though. I recommend the B&B itself instead. :)

Thanks to Valentina for being so available. We had a really lovely day at this B&B, which is cared for down to the smallest details. The garden is beautiful and the sea is very close. The rooms are a little small, but nice. We’ll definitely come back. And the restaurant was delicious, congratulations! 😘
