We were just looking for a few drinks, maybe more, after having dinner in another town. I was out walking with two young women and found this place near where we were staying. We ended up feeling uncomfortable and unwelcome, so we asked for the bill and left. The waiter told us right after we sat down that we couldn't order only drinks and had to get food. One of the women ordered a starter since none of us were hungry, but then he said one plate wasn't enough for three people. We explained we weren't going to share it, but he was difficult. In the end we ordered three drinks and only one was served. Then he brought the starter and set it in the empty space at our table.

The homemade pasta and fresh fish were so good, I had to mention them. Service was excellent and everyone was extremely friendly. We went outside peak season, just a few minutes' drive from Fiumicino, and had a wonderful time. My mujer was happy with everything too, so I'll be back with her. Treat yourselves, we did and were glad we did. Grazie a tutti ed alla prossima.

I've stayed at Hotel Oltremare three times and love it. It's peaceful, right by the sea, and the staff are genuinely warm. The restaurant is outstanding, and I can't recommend it enough. I even shortened my Rome trip by a day so I could return for my final night in Italy. I can't think of a nicer way to spend the evening before a long flight back to the States. The beaches were impressively clean when I walked along them two mornings ago, and the town clearly does a good job of looking after things. The wifi and breakfast are great, and the ocean views at sunset are amazing. I want to end my vacation by the sea, with kind people and wonderful food. I highly recommend this place!
