Paoline's suite in villa

After three weeks of travel, we had one glorious night here, and it was much better than the local hotels we’d stayed at before. The B&B is in a very quiet neighborhood near Fiumicino. Our room was nicely appointed, with a private bathroom stocked with the things a traveler needs. Massimo and Paola were friendly, personable, and great to talk with. They speak English quite well. At our request, they served a simple but exceptional carbonara with one of the best wines we’ve ever had. We truly enjoyed the experience. Highly recommended!

Massimo and Paola made us feel welcome and were very friendly. We had the spacious upstairs suite, with large bathrooms, and it was clean and nicely decorated. We ate pasta at the property, and since it was New Year's Eve, they surprised us with traditional lentils on toast. They also packed us a nice breakfast because we had an early flight. I’d definitely recommend this place for families traveling with children.

The distance is a bit of a drawback, so taking their 20€ airport transfer may be the easier choice. I’d recommend the place for its friendly welcome and genuine Italian feel. We hadn’t realized breakfast was included, and even though the products weren’t fresh, it was a nice surprise.

The bathroom ceiling was so low I couldn’t stand upright in the shower, and the room under the roof was stifling after a hot, sunny day. On an already humid evening, the owner said the air conditioning couldn’t be set below 22*C. I barely slept because the room stayed so hot. When the owner asked about my night in the morning, I told him it had been terrible. He responded aggressively, saying Italian law required the 22*C limit and that Italians obey the law. Since my partner and I aren’t Italian, I felt that remark was racist. We later found there is no such Italian law. Breakfast was very poor: warm orange juice from a carton and warm bottled water, a packaged supermarket croissant, and no butter, eggs, cheese, toast, or cereal. The owner overheard us discussing how disappointing the stay had been and got aggressive again. He and his wife then brought our bags from the living room and told us to leave before checkout. We were left on the street with our luggage in an area without public transport or cabs. Before we left, the owner physically threatened me. I wouldn’t recommend anyone stay here.
