The room was spacious, spotless, and modern, with a comfortable bed and a peaceful view of the marina. For relaxing and sleeping somewhere scenic, Porto Romano The Marina Resort does that part really well. Dinner was the letdown. The restaurant’s food seemed microwaved or pre-packaged, and it was lukewarm, rubbery, and uninspiring. There aren’t many menu choices, and the prices feel way too high for the quality. Since the resort is tucked away by the marina, having a reliable place to eat on-site matters, but we ended up feeling it was better to drive elsewhere for a meal. I left with mixed feelings because the accommodations were excellent, while the restaurant dragged down the stay.

The front desk team were so kind and helpful, even handling our bags and arranging a taxi for around 5am. We were there just one night before an early flight, but the clean, modern, cozy room gave us exactly the rest we needed. It left such a good impression that we wished we could stay longer. We’d happily come back next time we fly out of FCO.

After more than 18 hours of flying from the United States, this was a great place to spend the night. The rooms were comfortable and really clean, and we loved the restaurant on site. The airport shuttle took quite a while because it stopped to collect another group, though the ride back was quick.

The curved staircase with three levels was hard for me to manage, though the room itself was terrific, with a lovely shower. The restaurant was quite good, and the staff were helpful and supportive. We’d stay again.

Such a peaceful, relaxing place. The location is beautiful, and we enjoyed a bike ride using the free rentals. The saunas were nice too, especially since you can reserve one for private use instead of sharing it. The staff were friendly and helpful. I’d definitely recommend staying here.
